1. Decoys (2004) 2. Dual Audio - English-Hindi 3. DVDRip - aaevilacharya 3An intriguing thriller, in which the loose ends are neatly tied up but it's still hard to know what's really going on. This is the sort of film that asks more questions than it answers, but when dealing with deception and misdirection it may not always be necessary to fully understand all the details before moving on. It's best seen as an oddly compelling puzzle for you to work out in your head while enjoying its tense action sequences and well-drawn characters struggling against their respective demons. This movie is very similar to the movie 'Cellular' (starring Kim Basinger, looking fantastic as always). The only difference is that Decoys has more twists and turns than it does. The film opens with the sniper shooting down the young girl. After this, we are transported into another world where there seems to be no coherent pattern of time or space. It starts off with a man who wakes up in his car in an unknown place and then continues to drive to work. We get a sense that he isn't really sure why he is going there. All around him, people are moving from place to place without any purpose other than getting from one place to another. We also get a sense that this is a nonassociation of individuals .They know nothing about each other. The main character in this film, Dev (played brilliantly by Nawazuddin Siddiqui), is really under the influence of something. He wakes up in an empty parking lot, and has no idea why he is there. He eventually meets his pretty girlfriend who lives in the same apartment building and they hook up. We then see that even when they are in bed together, they don't know each other's names or really their relationship to each other at all. There is a mysterious person living with them, who calls himself Mr. Smith but seems to have no identity of his own or purpose for being there . A strange person who seems to dress like a woman, but really isn't one. This movie progresses like this, showing us little oddities about the characters that don't make sense. How does Dev's boss know that he'll be late? The answer is that he ends up being late every day. How does Dev's girlfriend know where he lives? The answer is that she stalks him and even watches him from her apartment window. There are a lot of strange things going on in this film, and most of it doesn't seem to make sense. But the mystery keeps you engaged and wondering what's going on. In fact, there are not really any answers in this film at all . It's just about people struggling for an identity in a world that is completely lacking in them except perhaps in the little details of getting from place to place. On another level, it's about being trapped in a fake world created by the media and the government, where people are supposed to be happy and carefree but they aren't. When Dev finally shows up at his office he sees his co-workers are all taking pills with their coffee. We are not sure what these pills are for, but they seem to make people more compliant when watching propaganda TV programs on massive flat screen TVs with two images on each side when turned on.
